  1. Grammarly is great if you already have a solid command of English. I use it for my documents as well. But for important things I need published I use a professional proofreading service.

    Thank you for sharing this post. I’ve heard of Grammarly but haven’t checked it out yet. Sounds like it could be useful. With me as writer, proofreader, editor and publisher, it is very difficult to get it all right all the time. I must admit that I’ve never worked out how reading backwards one word at a time helps though.

    1. Whenever I am adding large numbers to a document such as account numbers, model and serial numbers, I read the number out loud both ways to make sure I’ve entered it correctly. It’s funny, but looking at it both ways really brings out the errors.
