  2. What a wonderful post, Michelle, thanks for sharing. I don’t have strong memories of my parents reading to me, but my husband and I read to our kids all the time when they were little, and we loved those moments. Even as young adults now and accompanied with technology, they still take time to read. 🙂

  4. What a lovely post. Great choice to share, Michelle.
    I agree about that importance. I was rarely read to as a child. I didn’t begin to learn to read until the second grade. Of course, once I got started, you couldn’t keep my nose out of a book. But I feel like I missed so very much because my parents didn’t care about or support my reading.
    Read to somebody today. Get caught reading today.

    1. Reading to children is such a delightful experience for all involved. I don’t have memories of my mom reading to us, but sometimes she would tell stories. I read to my kids everyday, and to my grandchildren whenever I get the chance.
