Great post of Christy’s, Michelle, and I had already read it on her blog…it’s always good to make time for reading, for all ages. I hope parents of little ones nowadays find a good balance between real books and technology, too. Happy New Year!

I agree. I see so many children out in restaurants and just about everywhere else using their technology gear rather than reading, and surprisingly a great many really young ones. Parents are missing out on some quality time if they aren’t reading to their young ones, and if they aren’t reading themselves, they aren’t being pro-active in creating readers.

It always amazes me when people say they dont have time to read…i say…quit watching tv and open a book. Use your time wisely.
